Paolo Campilongo’s story
I graduated in psychology in 2002 at University, while I also studied music sax. Having experienced problems with my balance and various other problems with the functioning of my body, I decided to try yoga in attempt to improve my psychophysical condition.
I met Patrizia Gregori a Iyengar yoga teacher in 2007 and started an individual course of treatment. It proved very beneficial, giving me a noticeable improvement in my physical condition.
However in 2009 I was diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis). I chose to by pass the normal channels and. Instead, intensified my partecipation in yoga. I attended group lessons with Patrizia in her school Centered Yoga Studio Dhyana in Roma, and have continued long so to this day.
In 2011, under the guidance of Patrizia, I met Dona Holleman. Attracted by the semplicity of Centered Yoga method I took a Centered Yoga Teacher Training Course Level Beginners held by Dona Holleman and Patrizia Gregori, continuing my journey of developing consciousness of my body and mind improving my balance. I qualified as a yoga teacher in June 2015.
Since November 2015 I have been attending a Teacher Training Course Centered Yoga Level Medium I with Dona Holleman.
I have a room in my home where I have founded the Appio Claudio Centered Yoga Studio. I attend as a student, collaborate as a teacher and secretary at Patrizia Gregori’s Centered Yoga Studio Dhyana. At the end of 2015 I set up a course of Centered Yoga at the premises of Hibiki of Riccardo Percaccio.
